Some standard services we provide for our clients.
1. We send any health insurance proposal from HMO's to PPO's to EPO's. We are certified and represent Covered California, Anthem, Blue Shield, Health Net, Sharp Health Plan, Kaiser Permanente, Cigna, Aetna, SCAN, Humana, Assurant and others. Major reputable health insurance carriers.
2. We will research particular physicians and/or hospitals to make sure your providers are represented in the network of the particular carrier you are evaluating for the individual or family insurance. We copy/paste the confirmation so you can see a formal recognition of the provider or hospital based on the specific plan you are considering whether 'On' or 'Off' the Exchange and the exact specific metal tier considered.
3. We advise on advanced premium tax credits/subsidies and will give you the necessary income parameters to qualify along with other variables to consider such as whether someone is offered affordable employer coverage. We will explain all the parameters on these very important issues.
4. We will set up the initial payment if interested and help you out going forward regarding billing issues and on occasion will help regarding a medical claim issue.
5. We will also research some particular tax issues if relevant to health insurance including health savings account (HSA's).
6. We advise on tax penalties if you choose not to purchase health insurance. You ask a question..we will give you an honest answer.
